SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Division of Emergency Management will conduct a statewide public warning system drill on Thursday.
Between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., residents throughout Texas could obtain emergency alert textual content messages on their telephones, see alerts on native tv or radio, or hear outside warning sirens. No motion is required.
Officials will probably be testing whether or not alert systems are functioning correctly and figuring out areas for enchancment.
The Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd says common coaching and testing construct readiness for a catastrophe.
