Native American remains had been discovered earlier this week in a building space of UC Berkeley, college spokesperson Janet Gilmore confirmed to SFGATE. 

The bones had been discovered Wednesday, and the information was first reported by the Berkeley Scanner. Gilmore mentioned authorities imagine the remains are usually not related to against the law. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office was the company that decided the remains had been “likely Native American,” and police are usually not concerned within the case, Sgt. Kevin Vincent with the UC Berkeley Police Department instructed SFGATE. 

According to the Berkeley Scanner, the remains had been discovered within the space set to be the brand new seaside volleyball advanced on the college.
