HOUSTON — — Carlos Correa put Houston on prime with a three-run homer and Christian Vázquez added a solo shot to steer the Astros to a 6-4 win over the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday to finish a three-game sweep.
It’s the fifth consecutive win for the Astros and provides Boston 5 straight losses since a gap day victory.
Pinch-hitter Roman Anthony homered off Bryan Abreu to start out the ninth and get the Red Sox inside two. But Abreu struck out the subsequent three batters to get his first save.
