Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing could have saved his wife Sophie Habboo and baby son Ziggy as he alerted docs that one thing was incorrect during the ultimate phases of labour.

Jamie Laing has recalled the terrifying second he realised one thing wasn’t proper during wife Sophie Habboo’s labour again in December. The Made in Chelsea star was within the last phases of supply when Jamie noticed one thing worrying, and known as for assist.
Speaking about the birth of their son Ziggy, Jamie, 37, insisted he needed to “experience everything” and so was eager on watching all of it unfold, which is how he observed one thing was incorrect.
He instructed Jessie Ware’s Table Manners: “There was so much water and then, I also just kept looking the whole time, because I wanted to see what was going on. There was one point I looked down – I was the one who said it doesn’t quite look right.”

He realised that their baby boy was in an unsafe place and being born hand-first, which he described as trying like “a tarantula ready to pounce”.
That led to the medical consultants taking Sophie, 31, for an emergency c-section the place they safely welcomed little Ziggy into the world.
Sophie defined: “It ended up in a C-section. I laboured the whole way to nine centimetres. So the baby had his hand coming out of the cervix. So when I said, I’m so dilated, I need to push – he looked and actually laughed, our doctor.
“He was like, ‘God, what are the chances you are ready to push,’ however the hand was poking out.”
Jamie admitted he inititally panicked when she was taken into theatre: “We have been anticipating to have this regular pure start, and it might be completely tremendous and magical, and all these various things and then immediately, this factor occurred the place it was an emergency C-section. And when that occurs, you panic.
“And I was in this complete panic zone. Soph was staying so calm. It was insane. I was suddenly in scrubs, the whole thing was just wild. We got taken to the theatre, and by the time they said you need an emergency C section now to the point where we’re getting ready to go, it’s like five minutes. It’s instant.”
He added that ultimately Ziggy’s arrival was “magical” and the anaesthetist filmed it for his or her Disney sequence Raising Chelsea, out April 2nd.
