Former EastEnders star Kacey Ainsworth has responded to a pretend report saying she’s on her method again to Albert Square. Ainsworth performed the Slater household’s Little Mo from 2000 to 2006 earlier than departing the cleaning soap with out ever returning to Walford.
The actor responded on Instagram to a post from X account @babesmithh (named for the cleaning soap’s pleasant villain Aunt Babe) that stated Little Mo could be again “for three unmissable episodes this autumn.”
“Very flattering that a character I created 20+ years ago is still held in folks hearts it’s ❤️… but this is FAKE NEWS,” Ainsworth wrote.

“This is not a conversation I have had with the powers that be.”
Referencing the image of Little Mo exterior the Queen Vic, Ainsworth added: “Creds to whoever mocked up this picture tho – it’s my head but I don’t think it’s my body. I came out of my recording and my phone was on [fire].”
While the information is unfortunately pretend, some previous and current residents of Albert Square would like to see Ainsworth make a return.
Louisa Lytton, who performed Ruby Allen, commented: “We are desperate for it though!” Lauren Beale actor Jacqueline Jossa wrote: “I would give anything for this to be true though…”
Talk of Little Mo making a return comes because the cleaning soap will get prepared for the departure of Zoe Slater, performed by Michelle Ryan. It is believed Zoe will quickly be killed off because the forged have been noticed filming funeral scenes.

With one Slater leaving we do have one other who is certainly returning – Sean Slater, performed by Rob Kazinsky.
Sean’s return was confirmed earlier this week, with Kazinsky saying he “can’t wait to bring a new level of heartfelt chaos” to the cleaning soap.
“I left EastEnders in 2008 as a 23-year-old boy and was lucky to spend the next 19 years of my life working around the world, always championing EastEnders and stating the fact that one day I wanted to walk in Sean’s Shoes again, but this time as a man to see who Sean the man might also be,” the actor added.
“I wanted to do it for Sean, I wanted to do it for the fans that have supported me in every role since I left the Square but, mostly, I wanted to do it for me. I’m home, and I can’t wait to bring a new level of heartfelt chaos to Albert Square in the way only Sean Slater can.”
