Former boxing world champion Joe Cordina has denied assaulting a man outside a petrol station, a court has heard.
Cordina, 34, was one among two males charged in reference to an incident within the Cardiff suburb of Pentwyn in February.
He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and pleaded not responsible to 2 expenses of assault by beating.
Cordina appeared within the dock alongside Jamie O’Brien, 32, from Pentwyn, who has additionally been charged with assault in reference to the incident.
