A lady was useless and a person arrested following a two-vehicle crash that left a SUV upside down and largely submerged in the wetlands in Huntington Beach on Wednesday night time, April 15, authorities stated.
Both drivers have been northbound on Pacific Coast Highway, south of Warner Avenue, when the driving force of a BMW sedan rear-ended a Kia Soul about 10:40 p.m., Huntington Beach police spokeswoman Jessica Cuchilla stated.
The Kia Soul was pushed off the roadway and into the wetlands, she stated.
The Soul driver, a 53-year-old Long Beach girl, was taken to a hospital however died. She was not publicly recognized pending notification of her kin.
It was unclear whether or not the collision itself induced her dying, or she drowned. The trigger was below investigation.
The driver of the sedan, a 23-year-old Long Beach man, was arrested on suspicion of driving below the affect, Cuchilla stated.
Huntington Beach Fire Department lifeguards have been among the many first responders on the scene and helped take away the girl from the SUV, Cuchilla stated.
