DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — A lady in Douglas County faces quite a few baby cruelty costs after she was accused of leaving six children alone without food in unsanitary situations, allegedly to the purpose {that a} baby reported his 1-year-old sibling began eating ants and roaches.
Warrants for six counts of second-degree baby cruelty allege 37-year-old Sherry Magby left 5 children underneath the ages of 10 underneath the supervision of a 10-year-old at a house on James D. Simpson Avenue for 12 hours on March 29.
They say she brought on “cruel and excessive mental and physical pain” to every of them. They had been recognized as a 1-year-old, a 2-year-old, a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old, an 8-year-old, and a 10-year-old left in cost. The warrants don’t clarify Magby’s relation to the children.

Booking data present she was taken into custody on April 2 on the Douglas County Jail.
One neighbor, who didn’t need to be recognized, advised 11Alive that the evening police responded to the house, the children confirmed up at her yard, saying they may not wake the one-year-old.
Multiple neighbors advised 11Alive they not often noticed Magby at residence.
“I thought everything was OK, but I just know she’s never home, she’s never there, and it’s just sad, sad,” stated one of the neighbors who was not comfy being recognized.
The neighbor stated that if she had identified the children didn’t have food, she would have fed them.
