Texas A&M working again E.J. Smith participated in Dallas Day, the Cowboys’ annual exercise day for native prospects. That gave Cowboys followers hope that Smith would possibly sign with the hometown workforce and comply with within the footsteps of his father.
But as he did in selecting his faculty, E.J. Smith is his personal man.
After going undrafted, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, the NFL’s all-time main rusher, is signing with the Chiefs.
E.J. Smith introduced his choice on Instagram.

Smith spent 4 seasons at Stanford and two at Texas A&M.
He had solely 44 carries for 205 yards and 4 touchdowns and 4 catches for 18 yards in 2025, however had two memorable performs for the Aggies.
