The Flyers traded Bobby Brink to the Wild in alternate for defenseman David Jiricek, a supply confirmed Friday.

Brink grew to become a trade candidate for a couple of causes. The Flyers have so many younger wingers, both on the roster now and in the system. Meanwhile, they need assistance at different positions.
The 24-year-old Brink was additionally due a brand new deal this offseason as a pending restricted free agent.
Jiricek is a 6-foot-4, righty shot who was taken sixth total within the 2022 NHL draft. We profiled him leading up to that draft. The Flyers ended up taking Cutter Gauthier at No. 5. Gauthier ended up turning down the Flyers, who had been forced to trade him in January 2024.
