Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham is making good use of the WNBA’s two-week break in the course of the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup.

Cunningham has been in the center of a media firestorm for over a month now, after her feedback towards trans athletes in girls’s sports activities led to main debates over her stance.

There have been pro- and-anti-Cunningham rallies at each Fever sport since late July, and the WNBA season break is giving the 30-year-old guard an opportunity to take time away from the eye.

Cunningham shared a homely personal update on X about consuming contemporary floor chuck that was regionally raised.

“I just ate ground chuck that one of our family friends raised, and boyyy was it yummy and fresh!”

This was a day after Cunningham shared a number of private updates on social media about her spending time with family, like giving her father a spa day, in addition to revealing that he nonetheless pays for her car insurance and phone bills.
