The Buffalo Sabres can lengthen their highway level streak to a franchise-record 11 video games after they go to the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena.
Buffalo is 9-0-1 in its final 10 highway video games, matching the franchise-best streaks set through the 1983-84 and 2006-07 seasons.
The matchup with the Golden Knights opens a four-game highway journey in opposition to the Pacific Division. All 4 opponents – Vegas, San Jose, Anaheim and Los Angeles – are jostling for place within the crowded Western Conference playoff race.
