Rare Level 4 risk of severe weather issued Monday; widespread severe storms possible :: WRAL.com

Strong storms are transferring into our space on Monday, making it a WRAL Weather Alert Day.

A uncommon Level 4 risk out of 5 has been issued for our space by NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center.

This is reserved for when widespread severe thunderstorms are anticipated. 

The final time our space was in a Level 4 risk for the next day was in March of 2021.
