The Phillies have misplaced two of three video games of their final three sequence.
The Phillies and Braves start a 3-game set at Citizens Bank Park April 17 at 6:40 p.m. NBC Sports Philadelphia will air the game.
It’s early within the season however, with National League East rival Atlanta on the town, they’re going to be troubled to reverse that pattern.
The Braves (12-7) are in first place within the NL East with the Phillies (8-10) in fourth place 3 1/2 video games again.
Taijuan Walker (1-2, 7.36) is beginning for the Phillies however, with Zack Wheeler’s return looming, his days within the rotation are doubtless dwindling.
Left-hander Martin Perez (0-1, 3.14) begins for the Braves.
