GREEN BAY – The Packers traded each of their seventh-round picks Saturday to make their ultimate choice of the draft, shifting up to take Florida kicker Trey Smack at No. 216 overall, the final decide of the sixth spherical.
Green Bay acquired the decide from Seattle, who acquired the No. 236 and 255 overall picks in the seventh spherical.
Smack (6-1¼, 188) has an enormous leg, setting the Florida college document with 10 made discipline targets of 50-plus yards over the previous three seasons. He made 10-of-13 from 50-plus, together with 5-of-6 final season with a protracted of 56 yards. He was named third-team All-SEC.
For his profession, Smack made 53-of-64 discipline targets (82.8%) and 100-of-101 further factors (99%). Known for his excessive trajectory, Smack had only one kick blocked, again in 2023.
Smack comes to Green Bay because the third kicker on the present roster, becoming a member of veteran Brandon McManus and Lucas Havrisik.
