OXFORD — The Mississippi Supreme Court has denied the NCAA’s petition to enchantment Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss’ injunction in opposition to the NCAA.
The courtroom introduced the choice on March 27 in a doc obtained by the Clarion Ledger.
The one-page order was signed by Josiah Dennis Coleman, the presiding justice.
“We find that the petition should be denied,” the order mentioned.
The preliminary injunction from Judge Robert Whitwell that Chambliss acquired in Lafayette Chancery Court will stand. It positions Chambliss to return to play for Ole Miss in 2026.
