The Olathe Fire Department responded to a home close to 143rd Street and Pflumm Road round 12:30 p.m. Friday for a “lightning strike investigation.” Firefighters found fire within the basement after it appeared lightning hit the roof. The home was considerably broken, leaving 4 folks displaced. No one was damage. The Olathe Police Department, Overland Park Fire Department and Johnson County MED-ACT assisted on the scene.
