Hearts boss Derek McInnes says no different facet in Europe are defying expectations the way in which his team are.
The Tynecastle membership – bidding to finish 4 many years of Old Firm title dominance – are two factors clear on the high of the Premiership with simply seven video games to play.
And whereas McInnes thinks there are different groups in the division overachieving, no person is doing it fairly like Hearts.
“Listen, there’s three teams in the league who have overachieved this season – “Falkirk, Motherwell and ourselves,” the 54-year-old stated.
“You could not say that about all people, however I believe us three are in all probability forward of the place we thought we may have been this season.
“We’ve now been elevated into a position that probably nobody thought we could be at this stage of the season.
“I believe if you look throughout Europe, internationally, for a team to have the disparity in wages and spending energy as in opposition to the opposite two [Celtic and Rangers], it’s so uncommon.
“We’re probably the only team that could be top of the league for so long and certainly top of the league with so few games to go.
“There’s groups who’ve spent much more, with much more expectation on them in our league who needs to be on the high of the league, however they don’t seem to be.
“We’re there, we’re enjoying it and we just need to try and keep maintaining our good work for the rest of the campaign.”
