The HBO late-night sequence “Neighbors” has been renewed for Season 2, Variety has realized.
The information comes forward of the primary season finale, which is able to air on March 20 on HBO and HBO Max starting at 9 p.m. ET.
Per the official logline, “This explosive series explores the chaotic and complicated disputes of neighbors… and the extreme lengths they’ll go to defend what’s theirs.” Each episode introduces the story of an actual battle between neighbors over quite a lot of grievances. Series administrators Dylan Redford and Harrison Fishman filmed traveled throughout the nation for over two years gathering footage for the present.
“Everyone has a neighbor story, and Dylan and Harrison have a knack for finding ones that make you laugh, cringe, and make it impossible to look away,” mentioned Nina Rosenstein, govt vice chairman of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials. (*2*)
According to HBO, “Neighbors” has averaged 2.9 million cross-platform viewers per episode because it debuted in mid February. Fishman and Redford are administrators and govt producers on the sequence. Additional govt producers are A24 and Josh Safdie, Eli Bush, Ronald Bronstein, and JP Lopez Ali for Central. Rachel Walden produces for Gummy Films.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the amazing teams at HBO, A24, Central, Gummy Films, and Genma Pictures on another season of ‘Neighbors,’” Fishman and Redford mentioned. “They placed so much trust in us and gave us the freedom to create the show we always envisioned. Thank you to all the incredible neighbors who bravely shared their stories and welcomed us into their lives to make the first season possible. We can’t wait to get back out in the field and introduce audiences to the neighbors they never knew they had.”
