PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Monster Jam is again at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia on Saturday.
Fans with a Pit Party move can come meet the drivers and check out the vans starting at 9:30 a.m. The foremost occasion begins at 1 p.m.

“It’s pink. It’s sparkly, but it’s also super-fierce, and we want to come out on the track and take those wins from the boys,” she mentioned. “Motor sports in general has been such a male dominated industry, and of course we want to get more girls involved.”
Each Monster Jam truck is roughly 10.5 ft tall, 12.5 ft large, and 17 ft lengthy.
Cam Murphy drives Classroom Crusher.
“Classroom Crusher is a 12,000 pound truck turned into a school bus. Who doesn’t love to see a school bus jumping 30, 40, 50 feet in the air?” he mentioned.
Around 5,000 tons of grime are hauled into the Linc to create the obstacles and observe.
“There’s two different race tracks out here. Every single ramp has a different angle, different lengths and things of that nature that will soar the trucks to the sky or shoot us out a little further,” Murphy defined.
There are three totally different competitors classes: racing, abilities, and freestyle.

“We’re known for freestyle and big air, but this year we’ve been really consistent in racing. Hopefully we continue that and come away with a racing win here in Philly,” mentioned Stephens.
