Missing San Jose man feared dead after decomposed body found in vehicle


A decomposed body found inside a vehicle in East San Jose could also be related to the disappearance of a man who was reported lacking, police stated.

Shortly earlier than 7 a.m. on March 21, officers had been referred to as to Francis Drive and McKee Road following a report of “suspicious circumstances.” In a vehicle, police situated a body that was described a “severely” decomposed.

Following the invention, the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner took the body, who stays unidentified.

Police stated the vehicle’s registered proprietor, recognized as 40-year-old Aldama Refugio Jr. of San Jose, was reported lacking after he was final seen in early 2026. San Jose police investigators imagine foul play could also be concerned.

Officers recovered a crimson two-door Nissan Frontier pickup related to Refugio as a part of the investigation.
