Authorities say police have taken 44-year-old Joseph Nicpon into custody. The Amber Alert has been canceled.
WISCONSIN, USA — Authorities have located the lacking eight-year-old girl, who disappeared in Monroe County, Wisconsin, on Friday.
According to the Wautoma Police Department, the girl was discovered by the Nebraska State Patrol. Her situation at the moment is unknown.
Law enforcement says they’ve taken 44-year-old Joseph Nicpon into custody, after the girl was beforehand reported to be in a car with Nicpon and a lady, final seen touring on I-90 close to Sparta round 12:55 p.m. on Friday.
The Wautoma Police Department beforehand revealed that Nicpon is on the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry for 2 sexual assault instances. Records point out Nicpon was convicted of incest with a toddler in 2017.
