NEW YORK — Mike Trout homered for the fifth time throughout a four-game sequence at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, crushing a 446-foot drive in the seventh inning for the Los Angeles Angels.
The three-time MVP joined Jimmie Foxx (1933), Darrell Evans (1985) and George Bell (1990) because the fourth participant with 5 homers in a sequence towards the Yankees, in line with MLB researcher Sarah Langs. Trout homered twice on Monday earlier than going deep once more in the next two games.
