An analyst with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office was arrested Tuesday on allegations that he sexually abused a woman whereas off responsibility, police informed Fox News Digital Wednesday.
Tauhid Dewan, 28, is accused of inappropriately touching a 40-year-old woman’s personal space throughout a late-afternoon rush-hour subway trip in Queens, according to native outlet PIX11.
The sufferer was reportedly a random woman, the outlet added, citing sources who mentioned she and the suspect had been strangers.
A spokeswoman for the workplace informed Fox News Digital that the staffer has since been suspended.
