PHOENIX — This has been a giant week for Arizona Diamondbacks children hitting their first main league home runs, as Jordan Lawlar put himself on the board Thursday towards the Atlanta Braves.

Lawlar attacked a first-pitch fastball from Braves right-hander Reynaldo Lopez and slugged it 424 feet to left-center discipline, a no-doubter that landed a couple of dozen rows again.

Lawlar is the second Diamondbacks participant to hit his first career home run throughout this opening homestand, as Jose Fernandez captured attention by hitting two home runs in his massive league debut on Tuesday towards the Detroit Tigers.
