Jack White will perform at Pine Knob on July 25, promoters introduced Thursday, and if that feels like a first for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, it is as a result of it’s.
The Detroit rocker has checked the vast majority of main Metro Detroit venues off his checklist at one level or one other, both as a solo performer or with the White Stripes, the Raconteurs or the Dead Weather.
But Pine Knob can be a first for the 50-year-old, who final week launched two new singles, “G.O.D. And the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.” He carried out them each on last weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” on which he appeared with his fellow Jack, Jack Black.
Tickets for the Pine Knob present go on sale April 17 by way of Ticketmaster; pre-sale tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Monday.
The present is a part of a spherical of North American dates introduced Thursday. White can also be touring Europe and Asia this summer time, and kicks off his tour May 30 in Sigulda, Latvia.
Looking again at previous concert events from White, here is an inventory of main space venues he is performed during the last 25 years, after graduating from membership reveals at venues just like the Gold Dollar and the Magic Stick:
