Israel Adesanya on Robert Whittaker being a ‘good boost’ to his training camp

Adesanya and Whittaker first met in the cage again in 2019 once they fought in a middleweight title unification struggle.

‘The Last Stylebender’ scored the second spherical knockout win, kicking off his reign as the undisputed champion at 185lbs.

And after three profitable title defenses, Adesanya rematched ‘The Reaper’ three years later, this time bettering him over a 5 spherical resolution.

Since then, although, the two have grow to be shut associates and now training companions, with Adesanya welcoming him into his UFC Seattle struggle camp.

“Rob, man, honestly, one of the best dudes in the game, not just fight-wise, one of the GOATs at middleweight, one of the GOATs from this area of the world and just a good human being,” Adesanya stated in a latest video on his YouTube channel.

“I knew he’s got a good spirit because when you fight someone, you know this. But then when you have to train with the guy and you actually (get to know him) he’s just a good dude, man.

“Overall it’s just been a good boost to have at the end of my training camp to have a world class fighter like Rob to push me right at the end of my training camp and get me to the finish line and I’m very grateful that he’s here.”

Whittaker can be coming off the again of two losses and he’s set to make a transfer as much as mild heavyweight for his subsequent struggle.

And with that, fans are convinced that ‘The Reaper’s’ next fight will come against Magomed Ankalaev in July after latest hypothesis.
