Iran live updates: IDF launches ‘widespread’ strikes in Tehran

At least 3,461 individuals have been killed in Iran by U.S.-Israeli strikes because the conflict started on Feb. 28, the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported on Saturday.

The reported toll contains 1,551 civilians and 1,208 navy personnel, whereas the standing of 702 victims stays undetermined. According to HRANA, 236 of the victims had been kids.

ABC News can not independently confirm HRANA’s information. However, HRANA has been dependable in counting deaths throughout earlier rounds of unrest in Iran. HRANA says their information is collected from a mix of discipline stories, native contacts, medical and emergency sources, civil society networks and open-source supplies — together with publicly obtainable photos, movies and official statements.

Official Iranian authorities channels haven’t been offering common or complete casualty figures from the present battle. But the Iranian Health Ministry mentioned on Saturday that 244 girls and 231 kids have been killed in the conflict to this point, in a press release carried by the Islamic Republic News Agency.
