HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department stated an officer and his canine colleague are recovering from a crash that flipped his police cruiser in downtown in a single day Friday.
According to HPD, the officer and K9 have been on their approach to help with a chase when the police cruiser collided with a black Jeep on Smith Street at Pease Street at round midnight. Police stated the Jeep ran a crimson mild, which brought about the crash. The officer’s car flipped and rolled, touring practically a block, in response to authorities.
