Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s alleged wedding plans have reportedly hit a serious snag.
Jackman and Foster – who co-starred in the Broadway manufacturing The Music Man from 2021 to 2023 – have been first romantically linked in late 2024 earlier than confirming their relationship in January 2025 after they have been photographed holding arms on a dinner date in Santa Monica.
Reports then emerged in January claiming that Jackman had proposed and the pair have been properly underway planning their wedding.
However, now an insider has claimed that the wedding plans have been placed on ice in the intervening time, and it’s all due to his kids.

According to National Enquirer, all of his kids stay “steadfastly loyal” to their mom, Deborra-lee Furness Furness and have nonetheless not discovered it in themselves to have the ability to be completely happy for his or her well-known dad.
“Hugh really wants his kids at the wedding. They both want their loved ones with them to celebrate,” stated the insider.

The insider added that he’s set on ensuring all his kids attend, and he refuses to throw the wedding with out them there.

Reports of their nuptials first emerged in January when an insider instructed New Idea that the couple have been lifeless set on strolling down the aisle.
“[Hugh’s] told his team to keep a big window open for him and Sutton to tie the knot and have a honeymoon tour of Europe, where they can see his mum,” an insider claimed on the time.
The supply added that the couple have been planning a small, “intimate” ceremony in New York throughout spring or summer time for his or her “theatre pals”. There’s no indication as as to whether any of Jackman’s shut household can be in attendance.
“Hugh and Sutton are full of excitement about all the next steps that they can finally take,” one other supply stated.
