Five candidates file for America First Party in Nebraska, together with Brett Lindstrom
LINCOLN, Neb. —
Five candidates filed Tuesday to be on the ticket for the America First Party in Nebraska this November.
In addition to former State Sen. Brett Lindstrom, who filed for Nebraska governor, 4 different candidates filed for workplace.

- Daniel Hartong will run for Congressional District 1
- Chuck Conboy will run for U.S. Senate
- Bob Krist will run for Nebraska Secretary of State
- John Knight will run for Nebraska State Auditor
“This started with a pretty simple idea: Nebraska voters deserve another choice,” John Cartier, America First Party Chairman, stated in a press release. “Now we’ve got a recognized party and a serious group of candidates running for some of the biggest offices in the state. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and now it’s time to earn people’s support.”
Hartong joins incumbent Republican Mike Flood, Democratic nominee Chris Backemeyer, and Libertarian candidate Nik Sandman in the District 1 race.
Incumbent Republican Pete Ricketts and unbiased candidate Dan Osborn are operating for U.S. Senate in Nebraska.
Republican candidate Scott Petersen and Democratic nominee Sarah Slattery are in the Secretary of State race.
Incumbent Republican Mike Foley is the one candidate on the poll for state auditor.
