DOVER — Delaware State University’s season-opening football recreation at Alumni Stadium was delayed due to lightning in the realm on Aug. 27 however is now below manner.
The Hornets and Stony Brook have been slated to begin at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Thirty minutes earlier than that, it was introduced that followers should go away their seats due to close by lightning. The Hornets cleared the sphere whereas warming up.
Teams obtained again on the sphere, followers started returning to their seats and the Delaware State band entered the stadium at 5:53, and the sport did kick off at 6:07.
