Columbia woman sentenced to federal prison for stealing over $250K from business

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Isha Yumakia Warr, 53, of Columbia, has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for wire fraud.

Evidence obtained in an investigation confirmed Warr labored as a bookkeeper for a small business in Lexington County from June 2023 to July 2024.

Officials say Warr satisfied the business to swap to a brand new accounting software program system, permitting her to pay herself slightly than paying firm invoices.
