INDIANAPOLIS— The first few waves of free agency have created one other evident want for the Colts protection this offseason.
Indianapolis already wanted an overhaul at defensive finish and linebacker.
Now, the Colts want a security. Starting robust security Nick Cross left for a two-year deal in Washington on Wednesday, and the workforce’s high backup, Rodney Thomas II, is now signing with the Seahawks, a league supply confirmed to IndyStar.
Thomas performed 150 defensive snaps for Indianapolis final season, making 21 tackles whereas spending most of his time as an additional deep security in three-safety packages.
Joel A. Erickson and Nathan Brown cowl the Colts all season. Get extra protection on IndyStarTV and with the Colts Insider newsletter.
