The announcement, which was preceded by a sequence of cryptic posts from the singer, comes over 5 years after her final main solo live performance.
In a video message released on her 58th birthday, Dion shared information of the five-week restricted engagement, which is able to start on Sept. 12 and include 10 shows by Oct. 14.
“Over these last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love,” she mentioned. “Even in my most difficult times, you were there for me. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly so fortunate to have your support. I’ve missed you so much.”
She described the shows because the “best gift of my life,” including that she is “so happy” and “so ready to do this.”
