Boston acquired forwards Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo on Friday in trade for ahead Brett Harrison and defenseman Jackson Edward.
None of the gamers concerned has NHL expertise.
Harrison and Edward have been with Providence all season.
Gendron has 10 targets and 22 factors this season for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The 22-year-old was drafted within the seventh spherical in 2022 by the Flyers. In 127 profession video games with the Phantoms, he has 35 targets and 57 factors.
Rizzo has performed in 29 video games for the ECHL’s Reading Royals this season, gathering six targets and 22 factors. Rizzo, 24, was initially a seventh-round collection of the Hurricanes in 2019.
