The Denver Broncos have kicked off their roster cuts, and a participant who simply joined the group 4 days in the past has been let go.

The Broncos waived cross rusher Ron Stone Jr., according to multiple reports. Denver had simply signed Stone on Tuesday to provide them extra depth for Friday’s preseason finale towards the Minnesota Vikings.

“It’s added depth that can help take some of the workload off,” Denver coach Sean Payton stated after the group signed three gamers forward of their preseason finale. “It’s hard to go into this game and just say, ‘Hey, these 40 aren’t [playing]’; the stress level then on everyone else kicks up. So it’s a challenge whenever you get into this last game, and we’ll have a good plan.”
