ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — Five Disneyland cast members have been hospitalized Tuesday due to a hazmat incident in the backstage space of the park.
The Anaheim Police Department responded to a backstage space close to the Star Tours attraction at round 12:30 p.m. for an unknown odor.
According to Disneyland officers, constructing supplies utilized by a contractor produced a response backstage. Several cast members have been handled on scene by paramedics and launched.
Five staff have been transported to native hospitals after experiencing dizziness and shortness of breath. Their situation was not instantly recognized.
No park visitors have been impacted.
The park mentioned that out of an abundance of warning, close by areas have been cleared however have been anticipated to reopen.
