Major League Baseball carried out the ABS challenge system for the 2026 season, which permits gamers to challenge a ball or strike name made by the plate umpire. Each crew receives two challenges to begin the sport, and solely batters, pitchers and catchers can challenge a name. If a crew wins a challenge, it will probably maintain difficult. If a crew challenges incorrectly twice, it loses its challenges for the remainder of the sport.
Here are the ABS challenge system rankings for batters, pitchers, catchers, groups and umpires for the 2026 MLB season.
