The OKC Thunder has ruled out 10 players for its regular-season finale, a house recreation towards the Phoenix Suns at 7:30 p.m. CT Sunday.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso, Ajay Mitchell, Isaiah Joe, Jaylin Williams and Thomas Sorber have all been ruled out.
It’s the identical group of players who did not swimsuit up throughout OKC’s 127-107 road loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday. And it should not come as a shock, contemplating the Thunder (64-17) has already clinched the top seed in the Western Conference.
OKC will as soon as once more have eight players out there Sunday, together with its three players on two-way contracts. That checklist consists of Lu Dort, Jared McCain, Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams, Nikola Topić, Branden Carlson, Brooks Barnhizer and Payton Sandfort.
Dort is OKC’s lone starter who’ll swimsuit up. He must play at the least 20 minutes in an effort to meet the 65-game rule for end-of-season awards.
