A girl was allegedly subjected to racially abusive language throughout an incident on the London Underground.

Sarika Mishra, a banker from Rochester in Kent, boarded the District Line at Whitechapel shortly earlier than 8pm on Thursday, April 16, and started recording on her cellphone when she realised the abuse was directed at her.

In the footage, a person will be heard saying: “You fucking Indian, I am Pakistani.”

Ms Mishra stated: “Nobody must undergo this.

“It was not simply appalling; it was actually traumatic.

“This is when it got my intention and he was looking directly at me saying this.

“I used to be traumatised and did not know the best way to react.”

The man exited the train at Tower Hill station as the doors closed.

She said: “Everyone appeared disturbed, a father together with his little one appeared visibly upset.”

The matter has been reported to British Transport Police.
