Trevor Nelson has revealed he underwent surgical procedure for a mind tumour after stepping away from his BBC Radio 2 present.
The presenter defined in a message on Instagram that the tumour was found after he had been carrying on together with his regular life, leaving him shocked and prompting him to cease work.
He stated he was given therapy choices earlier than present process “a very serious surgery” a number of weeks later, which he says went extremely properly.
Nelson has spent the previous month at house recuperating, resting and recovering, alongside submit operative therapy.
The broadcaster instructed listeners he now feels able to return, saying: “I feel great right now. I feel ready to come back. I feel energised, I feel almost back to myself.”
Trevor stated he has been enjoying golf, going to the health club and getting again to his normal actions, though he has not but returned to radio or DJ work.
He thanked listeners and supporters for the messages and constructive ideas he has acquired throughout what he described as a “very serious situation” over the summer time and is wanting ahead to being again on the radio.
