Tranmere Rovers: Pete Wild named manager until end of season

Tranmere Rovers have appointed Pete Wild as their new manager until the end of the season.

Wild was most lately in cost of fellow League Two membership Fleetwood Town until his departure in January.

He replaces Andy Crosby at Prenton Park after he was sacked last week. Tranmere are nineteenth in League Two, seven factors clear of the underside two however they’ve misplaced 11 of their previous 12 matches.

Wild might be joined by assistant Adam Temple, whereas Andy Parkinson resumes his position as first-team coach.
