Vicky Pattison has been flooded with messages of affection and assist from mates and followers as she informed them of her and her husband Ercan Ramadan’s ‘very scary couple of weeks’ after their canine fell dangerously unwell.

The couple, who tied the knot in two ceremonies in London and Italy again in 2024, are doting homeowners of two beloved canine, Max and Milo, each of whom they rescued, with Vicky referring to the pet pooches as her ‘infants’.

And in a heartbreaking Instagram put up on Sunday (March 29), Vicky revealed that it was Max who had fallen in, ensuing in emergency surgical procedure and follow-up treatement, which has been occurring for weeks. She solely shared the worrying information after she was lastly capable of carry her candy pup dwelling.

Alongside a string of images in which the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 star and Ercan may be seen spending time with Max throughout his restoration on the vets, Vicky wrote: “A very scary couple of weeks. I’ve had a few messages from people asking why max has been absent from my instastories recently & I know it comes from a place of concern but honestly I just haven’t been able to bring myself to reply as it’s been a really horrible time.”

Explaining what occurred, the previous Geordie Shore star continued: “A couple of weeks ago, max developed abit of an upset tummy, which isn’t unusual for our sensitive little boy as he’s a greedy little scavenger & we have to watch him like a hawk. We resolved to take him to the vet if it didn’t get better the next day. That evening his health rapidly deteriorated- his stomach started to swell, he began to pant & then he lost the use of his limbs.

“Everything simply occurred so quick. We rushed him to the emergency vet & with out an Xray they could not decide precisely what was flawed with our child however suspected it was both a tummy twist or a blockage- each would require emergency surgical procedure. He was sedated & after discovering it was a blockage, prepped for surgical procedure. At 5am we bought the decision that he was alive & it had gone nicely however we weren’t out of the woods.

“Over the next week we went back to the vets about 4 times as we just knew he wasn’t right- he was lethargic, struggling & clearly in pain. By the end of the week his wound was leaking what looked like blood to us & we were beside ourselves. He was put on a drip & an hour later we were called to say he needed an emergency blood transfusion & they couldn’t do it there.

“We rushed him to @theralphvetreferralcentre about an hour from us & over the course of the weekend he was given 3 blood transfusions as his crimson blood cell rely was so low, aswell as one other emergency surgical procedure to take away the an infection he had contracted after his first surgical procedure. For every week we lay at dwelling crying & worrying, satisfied we might misplaced our angel. But the unbelievable workforce at @theralphvetreferralcentre saved him & for that we’ll be eternally grateful. We visited on daily basis, watching him so small & helpless was heartbreaking.

“But our big brave boy is a fighter & eventually on Friday evening we were able to bring him home to his family where he belongs. We love you so much Max.. and we’re so grateful for you.”

Vicky went on to thank these concerned in Max’s care, earlier than her put up was flooded with messages of affection and assist.
