Raphaël Guerreiro to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season

Bayern Munich and Raphaël Guerreiro have mutually agreed not to lengthen the Portugal worldwide’s contract, which is up at the end of this season, bringing his three-year keep at the membership to an end.

Guerreiro joined Bayern on a free switch from Borussia Dortmund in the summer time of 2023 and has up to now made 89 appearances for the Bavarian giants, lifting a Bundesliga title and the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup in his time at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern’s board member for sport Max Eberl was full of reward for the departing Guerreiro, saying: “We would like to thank Rapha warmly for the time we have spent together. You could always rely on Rapha on the pitch, and players of his calibre enrich any dressing room. Our discussions with him have been positive, based on trust and mutual understanding. Now, together with him, we are focusing on our goals until the summer – together we still want to achieve a great deal.”

Guerreiro has netted 12 instances and recorded eight assists in his time at Bayern, proving to be a useful member of their squad thanks to his versatility, which has seen him play in each full-back positions and in midfield.

Next up for Guerreiro and Bayern of their march in direction of the title is a go to Freiburg on Saturday for Matchday 28.
