Jonny Clayton chatting with Sky Sports: “I respect Michael, there’s not tactics, he just throws his darts. If things don’t go his way, he never blames anything else. That’s what I try and do because no one can help you if things don’t go your way and I think that’s why we have good games.
“We know we have to select factors up. The earlier you do this, it is much less strain, it does not get any simpler. I try to decide two factors up every week and something after that may be a bonus. I’m actually having fun with it.”
Michael van Gerwen speaking to Sky Sports: “Me and Jonny at all times have good video games. I additionally like him as an individual. Behind stage we at all times make jokes.
“It’s an important battle and I need to make sure I win the two points. Jonny is doing really well so I need to be up for it.
“There remains to be a very long time left on this match, it’s worthwhile to play properly week after week. I’m enjoying Ok, however I do know I can do higher. Don’t make errors and go for it.”
