KENT — The Kent State Golden Flashes are pleased Cameron Williams can be on their aspect this time.
Kent State introduced the signing of former Portland ahead just a few hours earlier than the transfer portal closed on April 21. The Cape Girardeau, Missouri native will be a part of the Flashes for the 2026-27 season.

Williams scored 20 factors in a win over Kent State on Dec. 14. He scored a season-high 25 factors towards Willamette on Nov. 3 and averaged 10.6 factors and 4.6 rebounds in 31 video games (28 begins).

“I am extremely excited to add Cameron to out roster,” Flashes head coach Rob Senderoff stated in an announcement. “He brings competitive toughness, versatility and has a very high basketball IQ. He won a JUCO national championship two years ago and played in a very good West Coast Conference. I can’t wait to get Cam with us here this summer.”
Williams spent the 2024-25 season at Trinity Valley Community College the place he received the NJCAA nationwide championship. He performed at Moberly Community College through the 2023-24 season.
