Police appeal amid concern for man seen injured outside park

GMP has issued an announcement

Police have issued an appeal for the general public’s assist after a man was seen injured outside a public park on Sunday morning.

Officers stated they had been ‘involved for the man’s welfare’ and an outline of him has been launched.

Greater Manchester Police issued an announcement on Sunday interesting for witnesses to an ‘incident’ at Westhoughton Central Park in Bolton. No additional particulars have been given.

They need to converse to anybody who noticed the injured man, who was stated to have been close to the Central Drive/Park Terrace entrance to the park.

No additional details about his accidents have been revealed.

In an announcement posted to social media, GMP Bolton stated: “Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed an incident at Westhoughton Central Park this morning (29/03/26) around 9.30am.

“We want to converse to anybody who noticed an injured man near the Central Drive/Park Terrace entrance of the park.

“The man is described as a being white, 25-years-old, with short bright blonde hair, clean shaven, wearing a black tracksuit/onesie.

“We are involved for the man’s welfare.

“If you have any information, please contact 101 quoting reference 809-290326.”

No additional particulars or circumstances have been revealed.
