After spending 2025 “in my shell,” Nicole Kidman is specializing in “what’s good” in 2026, months after she filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, Keith Urban.
When requested if she’s “doing all right” in an interview with Variety printed March 11, Kidman replied, “I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good.”
She continued, “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
Kidman initiated divorce proceedings Sept. 30 in Tennessee. With the celebs’ divorce finalized as of January, they’re following a parenting plan wherein the “Scarpetta” actress has main custody of their daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 15-year-old Faith Margaret.

Amid this upheaval, Kidman revealed she’s dedicated to staying within the Nashville space, the place she and Urban have been residing since round 2007.
“We have our life here. I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home,” she mentioned.
