It’s a household affair.
Nicole Kidman revealed she shall be accompanied by her oldest daughter to the 2026 Met Gala on May 4.
“And this is—I think it’s the third time I’ve co-chaired—but to do it now?” the “Moulin Rouge” actress expressed on the March 11 episode of the “Las Culturistas” podcast. “I’m so, so happy, and my daughter Sunday will be coming.”
Kidman shares the 17-year-old and daughter Faith, 15, with ex-husband Keith Urban.
The “Big Little Lies” star, who can also be mother to Bella, 33, and Connor, 31, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise, gushed that Sunday “loves fashion.”
Kidman continued, “She’s actually just walked the Dior show. Yeah, she’s flying back from Paris now.”
But the “Perfect Couple” alum can’t take credit score for Sunday’s profession.
“It’s her own, whole world and it’s incredible,” Kidman famous.
Kidman beforehand held the co-chair place alongside Anna Wintour in 2003 and 2005. This time round, she is most excited to see one fellow co-chair specifically.
“Well I just get to be there for Beyoncé,” Kidman gushed.
Rounding out the co-chairs for 2026 is Venus Williams.
Sunday, in the meantime, has continued to take the modeling world by storm. She first made her runway debut at Miu Miu’s spring/summer season 2025 Paris Fashion Week present in October 2024.
Sunday then starred in an accompanying campaign for the model’s assortment the next January, posing in a trench coat and skirt.
Scoring her first style journal cowl, Sunday posed for Nylon’s August 2025 situation in a brown leather-based Prada skirt go well with.
At the time, she admitted she was already taking inspiration from her mom’s style ahead closet.
“I take everything from my mom’s closet,” she instructed the outlet. “I sometimes joke with her that it’s my favorite store.”
Despite her profession flourishing by itself, the model has credited her mom for uplifting her by way of all of it.
“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” Sunday defined to Elle Australia earlier this month. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”
As for the most effective piece of “industry advice” Kidman has given her daughter, Sunday stated: “Always be on time.”
“There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”
Sunday’s candy feedback come on the heels of Kidman finalizing her divorce after 19 years of marriage in January.
Per their settlement, Sunday and her sister Faith shall be with the Oscar winner 306 days of the year, and can see Urban, 58, “every other weekend.”
